Mr. & Mrs. Butts || Anniversary Session

So these two that you're about to see below are two very dear people to Charlie and me. Charlie grew up with Chris and they are basically brothers. Rachel and I met right around the same time I met Charlie and we have been best friends ever since. Chris and Rachel are some of the sweetest, godliest, most loyal people you will ever meet, and if you know them, you are truly blessed:)

Chris and Rachel were married in November 2015 with Charlie and I by their sides. It was a perfect day and we were so happy to see them married at last! So yes, they have had their 1 year anniversary already, and had it months ago, but we were just a little delayed on getting serious about booking these photos for them. We nailed down a date for their session and ran with it! It still counts as an anniversary session regardless of when we book it;)

Rachel for sure wanted both of them to get back into their wedding day attire for the session, but with a more relaxed look. I loved this idea! Charlie and I did something similar for our session and I loved being able to have those new photos of us in our "wedding clothes".

We decided to hold their session at the same place they had their engagement photos done. Another idea I loved because you know just what a sucker I am for sentimental locations for photos;) Rachel's Mom may have been even more excited for this session than anyone else because she provided just about all the props, including the beautiful antique couch! She really helped pull the whole look of the shoot together and I am so thankful for all her hard work! I think it paid off;)

Enough of my rambling though, go see how it all turned out! :)

Mr.&Mrs.Jarvis || Atlanta, GA Wedding at Eventide Brewing

Today I am sharing the sweet and intimate wedding of Beth+Greyson! (/Grey, because everyone that knows him was confused when I kept calling him “Greyson” instead of “Grey”;)

Grey reached out to me after my awesome cousin, Dale (who co-owns this great place right here that you should go to if you’re ever at a little place called Ponce City Market: Spiller Park Coffee ;) referred him to us. We met with him and Beth one Sunday afternoon at their venue and went over all the wedding details. They desired a small, no-frills, easy going, small, intimate wedding where they were surrounded by friends and family all enjoying themselves on their behalf. We loved the idea of doing a wedding like this and were excited for the different style, stress-free proof day and really just couldn’t wait for the chance to work with Beth and Grey! After our meeting, we were ecstatic when we heard that Beth and Grey were choosing us to shoot their day and we got all the details nailed down!

The day came and we headed out to meet Beth at her and Grey’s home where she was getting ready. We pulled up to their quaint little home and found Beth getting her finishing touches done to her hair and makeup while friends were all gathered around her. It was a calm and joyful atmosphere which was the perfect start to the day!

We could just see how excited Beth was leading up to the First Look with her and Grey and were not surprised to find Grey equally as excited when we met up with him at Grant Park. Their first look was the sweetest and made it so evident how much these two truly love each other. Their happiness to be with each other made their portraits a total breeze! If you know us, we love candids. Love them to pieces, and we got TONS of great candids with these two. They make it totally effortless to get stunning photos!

The joy just grew from there on into the ceremony and the reception. The wedding turned out just as they said they pictured it to be. Friends and family were gathered all around, totally enjoying themselves on the new Mr.&Mrs. behalf, and fun was had by all. It was small, intimate, and totally perfect. We were so thrilled to be a part of this day. Thank you so much to Beth&Grey for asking us to be there to capture it all! We had the best time:)
