I am still pinching myself about the fact that I just wrote “New York Wedding” in the title of this post. New York! That’s right! Brooke and Chris were married on a beautiful and crazy windy Saturday evening in May. They were married on the steps of the gorgeous Rhodes Hall in Atlanta while family and friends watched as they were gathered on the front lawn. It was beautiful! Almost as beautiful as Brooke was on her wedding day. You will quickly find that Brooke has one of the most beautiful and contagious smiles and thankfully, we got to see it plenty that day! Brooke was so excited about the day and it really set the mood for everything else that day. It was a joyful day!
Some favorite moments of mine were when letters were exchanged from not only Brooke to her bridesmaids but from Chris to Brooke. Lots of happy tears were shed by all and it really became some of the most meaningful moments of the day. Thus the reason why you will find a million photos below of everyone reading their notes in that gorgeous light coming into the windows of the bridal suite. Speaking of the bridal suite, it was a photographer's dream. Really. I love this venue and I only hope to be able to shoot there again someday! It's a mansion hidden in the city and full of romance. It's a perfect venue.
Charlie and I were so grateful to be able to photograph this day for Chris and Brooke! We had so much fun being a part of it and are so excited for them to be married at last! Happy One Month, Chris and Brooke!
